Hi everyone, my problem is that my built in webcam is not working; the last time my camera worked was about a week ago, between that time I have done various updates and downoaded camera drivers and when using zoom it says camera is not recognised; I tried troubleshooting/fixing devices but the Lexmark X422 came up with devise driver failed. The system I have is an Acer Tavelmate 2480, Win 7 model, hope you can assist me further.

    Tinkerer

Open Your Windows Run  By pressing Windows + R key
Open Computer Management Tool by Typing this: compmgmt.msc
    Go to Device Manager
    Expand Imaging Devices
    Uninstall VGA Webcam
And Now Go to Top Press Scan for Hardware Changes
    Reboot
    your PC

I think your problem will be solved.

In Device Manager expand Cameras and take a screen shot so we can see it.
