I have a Nitro 5. Ive had it for about a year and a half. Recently I’ve been having trouble with charging. I don’t know if it’s the charging cord that’s broken or if it’s the laptop. When I plug it in I have to fiddle with the wire to actually get it to charge. And when I finally do get it to charge I can’t really touch or move the computer or it will stop charging and I’ll have to fiddle with the wire again. It’s super annoying. I don’t want to buy a new charger until I know for certain it’s not something wrong with the computer. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

I think it could be the same that happened to me with my laptop a long ago, you were not careful enough and put some pressure on the cable while it was plugged in (like in bed or moving the laptop while it is plugged in) so you snapped or bent a little thing inside and Now it does what it does. I am no expert but I think this could be the answer. Also, you should be able to get it repaired.

So it’s not the charger. My warranty is up so should I just take to geek squad or something?

As I said, not an expert, but you should try and ask in some PC shop about it, I know that when it happened to me I waited few weeks for them to repair it and the dude told me that it could hsem my computer or something.
