So, I bought an Acer Nitro 515-52 which supposedly has an i5 8xxx with an gtx 1060 6gb. But after turning the PC on, I realised that this laptop brings a i7 8750h with an gtx 1060 6gb.
The sticker in the panel is from a i5.

Is all of this normal? I am confused, as the PC was bought from Amazon UK as brand new. Can't even use Acer software to control fan speeds.

In the bios it shows the i7 processor  and the model is NG-AN515-52-5547

Either is refurbished with an upgraded board/cpu or manuf. mistake, which both will make me lucky, but that`s me... And you got it new with standard warranty? Lucky you!
    Enjoy!

    Hi,
Yes, it's normal to have a higher CPU than the advertised CPU, I had few laptops with higher CPUs than the one on the sticker when your laptop was assembled the i7 CPU might have been available at that time, have you tried Nitrosense and switching to Max or custom settings for fan speed?

I've just found it weird. It looks brand new, and I bought it 'Used - Like new' in Amazon. Anyways, I have a month to return it just in case and 12 months Warranty from Amazon.. So I will see then. Thanks for your help.

That is my problem, can't even open it. Tried to install it from website but as my CPU doesnt match the laptop model doesnt allow me to install it.. So I don't know how to make it work

Unistalling and installing older version helps in ~80% of the time...
