Connecting two external monitors to my Acer Aspire 7 A715-715G-57YT laptop with GTX1050?

I have recently bought an Acer Aspire 7 A715-715G-57YT laptop with GTX1050. I have also bought 2 external monitors which are freesync but more importantly g sync compatible (AOC G2590FX). My laptop only has 1 HDMI output so how do I connect these 2 monitors to my laptop so I can use all 3 monitors and also get the most out of the g sync technology for gaming? I did buy an HDMI splitter but only to discover that just mirrors i.e. both my external monitors show the same image which is not what I wanted. I really would appreciate any help I can get.

I'm not sure, but I think these adapters just copy the image of the notebook, that is, I think you can not extend or duplicate the image using these adapters! Have you tried pressing windows + p to select the option to extend or duplicate?

I have selected extend so I currently can move across the laptop screen and the 1st external monitor, with the 2nd external monitor mirroring the 1st external monitor. However I am wanting to extend the across the two external monitors. Thanks for any help you can give me.

n this case, the two external monitors are extending the notebook image, so you think the second external monitor is mirroring the image of the first external monitor!

Can you tell me which adapter model you bought?

Can you tell if the usb port 3.1 is thunderbolt? Maybe you can use this port to connect the second monitor!

I'm not sure if the USB port is thunderbolt, all I know is it's a USB 3.1 Type-C...…. I think I'm going to give in and take it to a PC shop. Thanks for your help though, I really do appreciate the effort.

Before purchasing a thunderbold dock, I need to know if it will work for my Acer Aspire A717-71G-58F0 with a USB C connector, but as I understand it not with Thunderbolt technology.

If the missing Thunderbolt technology means that I will not be able to transfer power through the USB C connector it is not a problem, but I need to be able to extend my desktop to the external screens.

If the thunderbolt dock will not help, how do I get the functionality of extending to two external screens.
