Hey Petercbkk, I had the Same problem swapping out the 1TB HDD for a 1TB SSD...... long story short is that after extensive searches AND time wasting it appears the new drive SSD drive isn’t set up as UEFI so the BIOS can’t see the Master Boot Record (your probably seeing HARD DISK IN BIOS and wondering why it won’t boot, right?) I created a bootable USB drive to restore the system....( I chose the options to keep data) this was all I could find that worked...... the instruction all here from the Microsoft site. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO?irgwc=1&OCID=AID2000142_aff_7593_159229&tduid=%28ir__eh3h61wh0wkft1eu0ctiwv3kfm2xnjluj6h2mze900%29%287593%29%28159229%29%28%29%28UUwpUdUnU47203YYwYg%29&irclickid=_eh3h61wh0wkft1eu0ctiwv3kfm2xnjluj6h2mze900

30mins and I was back in business, none of the ACER apps were loaded but it was a clean install... you need to complete further updates and go to ACER for the final drivers but easier than the faff of Googling for a quick fix.

    Best of luck

I still need help, I'm downloading Windows 10 setup into an sd card but I don't know what to do when I put my SSD back in? How do I install it? Would you be able to guide me?

I’m no expert but I’ll try.

As it’s a different or new drive I’ll still ask, have you backed up your data? If not please do.

You may need your windows key for this install, I never have as I’ve been ‘upgrading’ from the original cloned drive so bear this in mind.... there are Google videos offering detail on what I’m saying I’ve done if you’re nervous, do watch them to help.

    Steps:
The key is to complete the SD card ISO setup , leave it plugged in when it’s confirmed as OK  -> in your bios set the first boot device as what is showing as “Hard Disk” and set the second device as “USB device” -> on the BOOT MANAGER option set Secure boot to Disable -> RESTART...... IF you don’t see the Microsoft dialogue but an error message restart again and press F12 when prompted for boot option fro the options choose “USB device” and it will begin...... as I’ve said if it’s a new drive you may need your windows 10 key to set up (option 1).

    Good luck

The thing is i took my hard drive out replacing it with the SSD I don't need any data on my hard drive I prefer a new start on my SSD isn't that possible?
