I just paid £311 for this monitor as I thought it would have a sharpeness settings but it does not ? even though my cheap model does as does every other monitor. Without it my text and screen is blurry and looks cheap

Uh, this is a community support board, not Acer customer support. If you need to contact Acer support you do it through their portal. If you get no response or a slow response here it is likely that no one else is having your problem. Are you running the correct resolution on your monitor? Do you have Windows scaling at 100%?

Yes im running the correct resolution. If you read the question again i said i cant find a sharpness setting which should be standard in the menu like all other acer models , its not a pc issue

There isn't a sharpness setting because it's a flat panel display. Each pixel is one pixel in size and you can't focus a pixel. Sharpness settings were for focusing the display when they were projecting to the screen, such as old CRT displays or rear projection systems. If you have a fuzzy looking thing on the screen it's because your system it telling the display to put something fuzzy on it.

Bring up Display Settings and verify two things: first that the resolution used is the same as what the monitor supports, so no 1024x768 on a 1366x768 display. Next check to see if the scaling is set at 100%. That will give you the clearest image.
