I have just installed Ubuntu 18.04.4 on a Swift 5 (SF514-54T) but the touch screen and microphone are not working (even though they were fine under Win 10). Any ideas for fixing these?

You'll have to get in touch with the Ubuntu people to see if they have done drivers for those two functions...

Unfortunately there is nothing in the AskUbuntu forums about Swift 5.

Yes. I have the exact same problem that I never managed to solve since I installed Ubuntu in 01/2019.

About the touchscreen I probably identified the issue, and I've tried to ask in AskUbuntu, but haven't had any replies:

The microphone is still a mystery

Thanks for your response. I see that after more than a year your question in AskUbuntu has not been answered. I wish I knew about these issues before purchasing the laptop. My purchase was based on a review on amazon that everything works out of the box, which is clearly not the case. If you want, I can put a bounty on your AskUbuntu question in case it helps to get a response.
