How can I Optimize my Nitro 5 AN515-54-54W2 for gaming while streaming?

My games will lag slightly when I try to stream on twitch at the same time. Are there any settings I should look into or adjust, or drivers to update, to improve this? Or do you think it is just my internet connection? I'm very new to computers and streaming so any help would be appreciated.

It's probably your ram or processor that's causing the lag. The nitro 5 line wasn't meant for multiple high demand loads like that. After updating all drivers and reducing the bit rate and fps on your twitch stream, I would suggest upgrading the ram. If your down/up speed is less than 25/5mbps then that could also be the problem.

@ForcedExile yeah I think you’re right. My down/upload speed is higher than that, so it probably is the processor. I have 8gb ram, isn’t that? Other than that I’ll tweak those settings you told me to and deal with it until I build a pc one day lol

8gb of ram is probably the minimum you need for games and streaming simultaneously. Upgrading to 16gb wouldn't be too costly and you might see things running slightly smoother.
