Try the below steps and check
    1. Try to adjust the volume by tapping on the speaker symbol on the right corner of the screen and increase the volume manually.
    2. Sound mixer: Click the volume icon in the lower right corner of the task bar and drag the slider all the way to the top
    3. Reinstall the drivers in the device manager and check

I have done that, the volume bar is set to max, and everything still seems low

Than i guess thats the maximum you can get. Make be you can compare another laptop of the same model to check whether the other one has more volume than you laptop. Since the laptop speaker . More over the speakers are at the back on the edges of the laptop , so you can try to keep the laptop in a way were the speakers are not closed .

Hello , @pirate_tat87 try disabling sound enhancement.
Control panel>sound settings>playback>speaker>enhancement>uncheck the disable all sound effects box.

    Hi @pirate_tat87
You could try using Waves MaxxAudio and see whether it helps, go to start, scroll down to Waves MaxxAudio, run the app and adjust the settings and see whether different settings help increase the volume. You could also try installing Dolby Access App from Store, it's a trial version, if it helps the performance I would suggest buying the full version.
