How do I fix ''input not supported'' when I connect PS4 to Acer monitor

I can change the resolution on the PS4 to any of the options, 480, 720, 1080, from the TV but on the monitor, it always says "Input not supported". However, I can put it into safe mode and it shows up on the monitor just fine. Does anyone know what I can do?

What port are you using? Have you tried a different cable yet?
