I have a Acer E5-574 will not turn on. after I plug in the charger no light will turn on. I try to reset the battery by removing the charger first and pushing the pin on the back. No luck. I change the battery but again the same issue. Please give me any advice. thank you

Check voltage output of charger plug with a multimeter between its outer ring and center conductor. Should be about 19volts DC. Jack E/NJ

Hi Jack. First of all thank you for your answer. I measure the voltage output and it was 19 Volts. Please let me know if I need to check something else or if you have any idea what the problem is. Thank you again

If the battery charger LED isn't lit orange or blue when plugged in, then it's possible this mainboard has a spring-loaded safety interlock switch located near the RAM sockets. It's a normally-off switch that is not being pressed hard enough by the bottom cover to keep it in the 'on' position. Have you done any work inside, like adding RAM or SSD? If not, try to moderately tighten all the the screws on the bottom cover.  If the charge LED still won't light with the charger plugged in, the bottom cover will have to come off to check for the interlock and battery connections. Hello again Jack. Yes I open the back cover to replace the battery. I press the pin when was open but also I removed the small battery and replaced again.
    Still no luck

No pin. It would be a springloaded switch located below the RAM slots (see yellow rectangle below). If your mainboard has this safety switch, it must be pressed down firmly for the laptop the charge and turn on. Also, did you check open circuit voltage of battery? It must be at least 15volts. it is not such a switch to my laptop. after I checked the voltage I realize that the voltage that is going to mother board is 19.35 but before going to the battery is 0.22. Do you think that is the problem? Do I need to change the mother board ? Thank you again for your time and thoughts

At what point on the board are you measuring only 0.22volts? At the DC input jack? Or at the battery's mainboard connector? Please post photo if possible. Jack E/NJ

at battery's mainboard connector it is 0.22 Volt

OK. Carefully inspect all the other accessible parts of the mainboard outside of the yellow rectangle area for a spring-loaded pushbutton switch. Some of these mainboards might have had this switch located in other areas due to production changes. Jack E/NJ

That seems to be the audio jack. It should not be warm unless something is stuck inside. Jack E/NJ

It looks like it might be the integrated circuit chip on the top of the mainboard. It's probably pretty warm if you can feel the heat on the bottom. Can you access that chip to see if it's hot? I don't have the circuit diagram for the board so I can't identify its function. But at least we know that power must be getting to at least part the mainboard. That rules out a safety interlock switch problem. Are there any serial and model numbers printed on the mainboard. Sometimes we can google those numbers and get  more info on the circuitry. it is just worm, it is not hot or too worm
    The model number is E5-574 - 530S
    the SDN number is 55209038376
    thank you

That doesn't seem to be a mainboard number imprinted on the mainboard itself. Jack E/NJ

Did this happen suddenly for no apparent reason? Jack E/NJ

I did reboot the system throw  BIOS and worked for a week and then I realize that is no light to charging or turn on ( the yellow or the blue ) I thought that was a battery problem so I change it but still the same problem

    thank you
