Hello! I have an Acer Spin SP111-31, with 4GB DDR3 ram, Intel Celeron N3350 and a 32 GBSSD. I want to use Windows 10 LTSB, since it uses less features (Cortana, Edge, and Telemetry is gone), therefore, using less storage. I tried to install Aero 10 (<- link) which is based off of Windows 10 LTSB, but when installing it can't find my SSD (see picture). Does anyone have the drivers? imagepng82640334407f9019ee6e9273a8cf6a34png

Thanks,

Firstly, this ultra thin notepad come with Win-10 Home 64 Bit, can you boot into the OEM Op? As you should not have any trouble to clean install Aero10 internally with the .iso Aero10 installation files, then delete the Win-10 'Old Files" in (C:) drive. Also, which BIOS version do you have? If its any BIOS version prior to v1.06 2017/08/15, which is titled "Supports Windows 10 S operating system" you can't run Win-10, best is to update your exsiting BIOS to v1.13 2018/06/19, which is the latest. Also, have a look in BIOS if your SSD shows up? As you could have some internal storage hardware problems that are manefesting problems, check that.

Hello! First, I don't have the original OEM info, as my computer got viruses, and i needed to wipe the ssd. I've also installed Linux several times. The bios i'm pretty sure will show the SSD, since it shows up within other OS's and i don't really want to restart my computer. I will test this now, but i wanna post this first.

Firsly sorry for quoting the wrong BIOS version above, the latest Spin SP111-31 BIOS is the v1.11 and not the v1.13 and any BIOS version prior to v1.07 (not v1.06) tilted "Updates SMBIOS to support Windows 10 S" should be your BIOS version, as you can run "Aero10".

How did you update the v1.11 BIOS file VNBI0111.exe? As the Acer BIOS for the Acer Spin SP111-31 is an internal executable file (.exe file) that can only be updated and flashed through an OP system like Win-10. Usually, there is no need to worry when updating a BIOS file as long as you are very careful and observ these basic steps:
    1. Check your computer's model name and find your current BIOS version. You'll want this information when you visit the Acer site to download new bios version.
    2. Backup your existing BIOS or have a previous version BIOS .exe file available, in case a bad flash happens and/or if that happens its a totally different and more complicated (if at all) method, that can recover a bad BIOS flash.
    3. Make sure your computer is plugged into a reliable power source, the biggest danger with flashing a BIOS comes in the event of a power loss. Disable Anti Virus, disable any programs that are running.
    4. Extract your BIOS file. In most cases, you'll have to extract (unrar or unzip) the BIOS update file from within its folder and read your BIOS file's README document if applicable, then flash BIOS with update software executed from within Windows.
    5. Any old type of DOS BIOS flashing method should be crefully done to the exsact README document and instructions of your computers manufacturers instructions and your BIOS manufacturer instructions.

Hey, I used the Windows 10 S executable and I didn't read the README file, but it updated fine. I didn't touch it or even go on my bed (where my laptop was) in fear of knocking out the cable, sine the cable is not very high quality. I have gotten Aero10 to work, and it's beautiful
