I live in the US. Aside from the plugs are there any problems with using it here? I heard our outlets are limited to 120v while theirs is 127v. I really want to know if this is a no-go.

The only difference is the power plug for the US is different to Indonesia, it has nothing to do with the mains volatege e.g. 120v 127v or 240v etc. Indonesia uses the same power plugs and voltage as in the UK and EU, that is the only difference as the laptop runs on a battery and that battery is charged by the power supply adapter charger and the charging input volate (convered to charge the battery) is the same irrespective of the mains vlatge  e.g. 120v 127v or 240v to charge the OEM battery. You would need to get a US power supply adapter charger.
Could I just get a different plug end?
Like keep the same power supply but replace the end?
Yes, you could do that, as the charger adapts to a viltage rate of your region e.g. input:100 -240 AC 1.5A 50/60Hz etc
