Aspire A315-42 Webcam Quality

Hi.

I got an A315-42 the other day and the webcam quality is terrible. I did an online test and it noted poor quality and low frame rate. I didn't expect this from a $900 laptop. I reinstalled the drivers and ensured everything was up to date. 

Is this perhaps an issue with my device only or are the specs for the VGA camera poor?

    Have you tried to change the video quality in the windows camera app?

    Hi. There are no errors and the camera app is just as poor as the test. Below is the resolution from the test. Is this normal? I'd post a picture, but don't want to post my face. It's poor with items and really bad with faces. They look soft, blurry, and digital. 

    Our test detected a low frame rate (FPS).
    Webcam MegaPixels: 0.23 MP
    Webcam Resolution: 640×360

    Device uninstalled and disappears. 
    Scanned for changes and the device is there again. 
    Drivers and Device ID are the same as before.
    Cam quality unchanged.

    this is my last acer ... it is shameful that my model happens to be ryzen5 radeo8 12gb memory and has a web bed with quality of the year 1990 is a shame and a deception since that model of web cam were not used in the even lower range
