I have Acer predator 300 2017 model. It has GTX 1060 Card. Now while playing some of the games it starts showing vertical or horizontal lines from the object. Once restart the game it disappears. GPU temperature goes to 92-degree Celsius and CPU goes to 98-degree celsius. Below is one of the screenshots from the game. Please help me to resolve the issue.

    Hello sidsatavalekar,

92 degrees GPU temeprature are not very usual. The CPU temperatur however is.

Are your fans spinning properly ?
If yes, you can try to clean your laptop by opening the case. However, I do not recommend this.
If you have any overclocks, please disable them.
What you can also try is: Re-install the Nvidia drivers.

Acutally issue is coming at lower temperatures as well. I know it needs to be cleaned up and thermal posting is required.
One thing I want to tell you is I have not done any overclocking.
I did the stress test with GPU and it went well. Will there be issue with rams that is causing this?

I think I will give it to acer center for cleaning up. But would that solve the issue?
Or issue is there with some of the hardware on permanent basis?

@sidsatavalekar boot in bios then just freely look all settings for 2-3min. Check if you see vertical lines there
