This morning i used my ACER ASPIRE 3 A315-21 and the battery went. I then plugged in the charger but there is no power. I left it plugged in for an hour and it is still the same. I have checked the plug in another laptop and the plug is not the problem.
Does anyone have any other ideas? I have removed the battery and replaced it again and it still does nothing. The Laptop is only just over 1 year old and i have ever encountered this problem before.
PLEASE HELP as all my work is on there! Thanks in advance

There should be a battery reset hole next to the door for RAM modules on the bottom of your laptop. Disconnect your power supply and use a bent paperclip to press the button under that for 15-30 seconds, then wait 15-30 minutes before plugging the power supply back in. Leave it to fully charge, then try turning it on normally. Let us know if that did it...

    Hi, thanks for your reply!

I've tried that but still nothing. No lights are showing to indicate it is charging. Left for a while and still wont boot up. :-(

Not sounding good then... Have you been inside the laptop at all recently? Maybe the battery cable is loose from the motherboard.

Well, double and triple check to make sure all cables are reinstalled and fully seated. You don't have to worry about your files unless the HDD or SSD has failed completely. Did your model come with the big HDD or a smaller SSD?
