Predator 17 making static noise from speaker

I believe this is a common issue where when the laptop is on heavy load the speaker gives a noisy static sound?
similar to this thread:

https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/534951/acer-predator-g9-593-buzzing-noise-coming-from-speakers-under-full-load-with-video/p9

Anyone know how much it will cost to repair the issue if the laptop is out of warranty? mine expired this Aug 2019.

Thanks!

I have the same issue with distortion coming out of my left speaker under load. I had my Predator G9-793 78CM sent away for warranty almost 2 years ago because of this only to be told this was an issue with a speaker.  Obviously that didn't fix the issue and for the longest time i've settled with this. Almost 2 years later doing a google search I stumble upon all these threads where this is a much larger issue. Much like the original poster my warranty is expired!! So now what?

I ended up unplugging the speaker from inside. I opened up my laptop and unplug the bad side. Now the issue is gone. I have no more warranty. I use a headset anyways.

ERuiz could be just a driver issue or the speaker itself faulty in this case would need to be replaced

dr3ww_14 well your solution its not a viable solution at all but thats another option :P
