Does the Aspire TC-705 indeed have the Intel HD integrated graphics 4600 on-board? I have received conflicting info on this. Although Device Manager does not list it under Display Adapters, an Intel utility that scans your machine for possible Intel driver updates stated that there was an update available for the 4600. (version 15.4) Didn't act on it since my NVIDIA graphics card suits me just fine. Just wondering?

It's integrated to the CPU, so find the exact CPU model you have and go to Intel to do a search.

I have the Intel i7-4790 processor on my Acer.  It apparently does come integrated with the intel 4600 graphics. Not sure how one would output from it though since the HDMI and VGA ports on the back of the machine appear non-operable.

It does have the HD 4600 included as part of your i7-4790, but that is disabled as long as you have a discrete GPU card installed. If you were to remove your card then the BIOS would re-enable the onboard Intel graphics.

OK..does that mean I have to enter the bios myself and change a setting?

Do you have a discrete GPU board installed? If so you have to pull it out to enable the onboard graphics. As long as you have the better GPU installed the onboard will be disabled.

I should have been a little more clearer in my last question. I get it that my discrete GPU has to be removed in order to enable the possibility of using the onboard GPU if you have a need/want to. The question is in addition to removing the discrete board is there also a need to tweak some bios setting to fully enable the onboard GPU?

It would literally take you less time to go to the bios yourself and look at the various setting options than to ask us.

The BIOS is supposed to handle everything for you.
