Hi,

I have an Acer Aspire A315-31-C2GA and I would like to know the following:
1. Is there an extra ram slot for upgrades and what it the maximum ram size?
2. Currently there is a 2.5 inch HDD that comes with the device.  Is there an extra M.2 slot for an extra SSD, or do I have to swap the HDD for an SSD?

Thank you very much.

Yes there is an m.2 SATA3 card socket. No, there is no replaceable RAM module slot. Jack E/NJ

You must remove the screw holding the HDD and RAM door covers. Then remove the HDD. Then remove 17 screws holding bottom cover and lift/ slide bottom cover to the right. Disconnect the battery A at its connector B & C. The m.2 SSD card connector is inserted in the m.2 socket near the top and held down with one screw at the top of the SSD card. The screw usually comes with a m.2 new SSD card. Jack E/NJ
