Hello everyone!

I have an Acer Aspire VN7-593G. I was using my laptop when suddenly it blacked out. I tried to rester it, but didn't got any response. I tried resetting my battery and it also didn't help.

When I plug in my charger I don't get any lights from the LEDs and my charger USB doesn't have power output.

What should I do?

Sounds like the safety interlock switch is not being fully depressed by the bottom cover. You need to remove the bottom cover and tape a spacer to the switch so it stays fully depressed when the bottom cover is properly installed. The switch seems to be marked as a software switch on the mainboard (#17). Other than the battery reset switch (#19), check for other springloaded switches on the mainboard that could also be involved. Jack E/NJ

How do you know this? Did you check its open circuit voltage output of your AC charger with a multimeter? What did you measure? Also did you carefully inspect the board for other spring-loaded switches particularly around the RAM socket? Jack E/NJ

Try to reseat the ram. About the switch, i don't think you need a spacer, just make sure you thigten the screws well. I found that if you don't thigten the screws well, or you don't put them in at all, your laptop will not start.
