Hello, I have A515-43-R19L.

Is there anyway to change sample rate to 24bit?

When I go to sound setting and click on Realtek audio go to Advanced my sample rate is locked to 16 bit, 48000 Hz.

I’m using Audio driver from Acer website 6.0.8683.1. I also tried to update those using update everything works fine but sample rate is greyed out.

Realtek Audio Console also is showing only 16bit, 48000 Hz with no option to change.

Is it locked due to hardware limitations?

i have tried to see if it unlocks with headphones on and off. But does not do anything.

Also can someone check if you get ram hoarding with Spatial Sound( Windows Sonic for Headphones)
Just try to watch YouTube with this option “ON” and monitor task manager for “Windows Audio Device Grap Isolation” does it accumulate ram while watching video with Windows Sonic For Headphones?

Try installing the Realtek console driver as suggested in this link to see if provides more sample rate options. Jack E/NJ

When you turn on spatial audio for headphones, sample rates and bitrates are fixed.

Try setting the power plan to high performance mode if set to balanced or power saver. Laptop should also be plugged in. Jack E/NJ

    What a nightmare!

anyways I was able to find a solution by installing HDA version of Realtek drivers.

With these driver I can change sample rate to 24 bit. But I’m loosing Realtek Audio Console support.

Anyways I wanted to get True Harmony feature but it does not work with HDA drivers. So I decided to get back to UAD drivers with loosing support to change sample rate. After reinstalling drivers back to originals I lost sound completely.

Spend one hour cleaning Realtek drivers.

So everything is back to normal still no sample rate change support but Realtek Audio Console is working.

It seems like Microsoft and Realtek is in some sort of a political system.
