    • The charging adapter is heating too much which charging the Predator laptop - Predator PH315-52

    this is the model : Predator PH315-52
    Acer Predator Helios 300 2019 Model
    Bought this model in US. Currently using it in India using converter to charge the laptop.
    The charging adapter is overheated when charging the laptop.
    Is it normal?

      Good afternoon mallapraveen !

      If you do not know the working temperatures of the charger or measure it properly, you cannot say that it is overheating.

      It is quite normal for the chargers to become very hot.

      I am having the same problem.................can anyone tell me what is the working temperature for a charging adaptor of this laptop ?

      Under high gaming loads, 60*C on the surface. This would be very uncomfortable to hold. You can help keep it cooler by placing the charger in front of a room fan. Jack E/NJ

      In my case I'm having predator HELIOS 300 i5 10th gen with rtx 2060. my charger got extremely hot and stop charging any idea what to do ?

      What size is your charger? 45watt? 65watt? 90watt? 135watt? Chargers are cheap. So you must buy a new one. Jack E/NJ
