Bought my Nitro 5 AN517-51 last week and it's great but the wi-fi just disconects at random intervals. Nothing wrong with the wi-fi and I've tried updating all of the Network Apadters but the problem still persists.
Any ideas I can take on while in lockdown?
Thanks

@BenCM go to device manager then right click on your wireless network adapter then properties then go in power management tab and then simply turn off allow the computer to turn off this device to save power .you need to untick this and ok then check your Wi-Fi

Hi,
Could you please go to Device manager, expand Network adapters, post the snip of Driver tab.

You could try different DNS address, like Google, Open or Cloudflare, go to Network and sharing centre, click the WiFi card select Properties,
highlight IPV4 and select Properties, change the address for DNS at the next window.
Google DNS: Primary- 8.8.8.8
Secondary-8.8.4.4
Open DNS: 208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Cloudflare: as shown in my snip.

Hi,
No problem, did you upgrade the WiFi card from AC9560 to AX200? I think there's some sort of incompatibility causes the problem, Intel AX200 is an upgrade for Intel AC9260 and Intel AX201 is the upgrade for AC9560, this is only an assumption on my part and have no evidence to prove, I am going to do some reading on this, I have also noticed that you are using the driver for AC9560.

Hi,
Could you also check whether you have selected 802.11AC for wireless mode in Advanced tab under WiFi card Properties. Please read this for more information:https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D50P00004RS4SVSA1/intel-wifi-6-ax200-keeps-disconnecting-from-my-wifi?language=en_US
