Have you tried swapping the SSDs? One slot is for M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD and the second one is for M.2 SATA SSD, the one closer to motherboard is NVMe SSD slot and the one on top is for M.2 SATA only slot.0

Good Morning myPredator17 !
Which EXACT model of your laptop?
This series has 2 M.2 slots by default:
Storage 1: M.2 2280 SATA Gen3x2 or PCIe x4 Gen3 for SSD
Storage 2: Optional: M.2 2280 * 1 (SATA Express) for SSD

Once more, give this a try:https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/548058/acer-predator-17-g9-791-second-m2-ssd-not-recognized0 -
i tried again and in firs slot (closer to motherboard) laptop sees nvme normally, but boot drive m.2 ssd in second slot is not visible0
-
and in bios i can't change boot order to old ssd because it does not see os ssd0

What you can do is, install the original M.2 SATA SSD in it's normal slot(where it was working), use Minitool Partition wizard to migrate to an external HDD, then remove the existing HDD and replace with the external HDD, remove the M.2 SSD and replace with the new Samsung SSD, boot with the HDD and migrate the contents to the new SSD and check whether it boots, then you can install the original M.2 SSD and wipe it.
1.Downlload and install Minitool Partition wizard in original M.2 SSD.
2.Connect a spare HDD with SATA to USB cable to the laptop.
3.Migrate the contents of M.2 SSD to external HDD.
4.Remove the existing HDD, remove the original M.2 SSD, install the Samsung SSD, install the external HDD.
5.Migrate everything from HDD to new Samsung SSD.
6.Remove the HDD and boot with the new M.2 SSD and make sure it boots properly without any issues.
7. Install the original HDD and M.2 SATA SSD, format old M.2 SATA SSD because you can not have OS in two drives.
Hope that helps.5 -
i successfully transfer os to nvme now, but old m.2 ssd in second slot is not visible0
-
and now i have partition named ESP (391mb) in disk manager. how can i disposed of it?0

Hi,
It may have the boot loaders for the OS, so don't delete it, if you are happy with the migration to Samsung SSD, leave the old M.2 SSD out for the time being, use only the Samsung SSD and the HDD, after few reboots you can install the old m.2 SSD and format it.

Hi @myPredator17,
Could you please tell us which M.2 SSD is not appearing, please insert only the 1TB Samsung drive with OS and post the snip of the disk management, don't insert the second M.2 SSD, by the way, what type is the second M.2 SSD?0 -
