I have an Acer ES15. Serial # NXGFTAA0107XXXXXX. I need to make and save a video which I can upload to YouTube. I have thousands of people in lock down around the world who are looking forward to this video of my book reading (I am a published author). I cannot figure out how to do it. The internet says I need Acer Crystal WebCam. It is not on my computer. I can’t even access “All Programs” to see if it is there. Please help me, I don’t want to disappoint all these struggling people...

Your laptop already has a Webcam. Download and install one of the Programs in the link below

Thank you. I just downloaded the Atomi program and it shows it installed on my computer. I read the manual. It says to hit "Record". But there is nowhere to do this! When I highlight the program, there is no way to actually utilize the program. I just want to make a simple video, no bells and whistles. But thanks for reaching out to me. Something's not working, eh!

That's something to do with the program not your laptop. Generally the Record tab will not be active until you turn on your video recorder. Mine is in Start/Video Recorder

I have an Acer Computer, running on Windows 7, 64bit.  I would like to make video's to teach students. What software is the best to download for an older computer?
