Hello!  I'm trying to figure out what RAM I can/should use to upgrade my A315-41-R98U.  I'm getting slightly conflicting information.

Some places say the max amount of RAM is 16 (2x8) while others seem to indicate that the max is 32 (2x16).  Is anyone able to confirm which is the case?

For speed, it looks like the max supported is 2400 (even though it came installed with 2666, it runs/clocks at 2400 which is a little confusing).  Can someone confirm this is the case.

Finally, does it matter if the RAM is single/dual ranked (and if either can work, should I expect one to result in better performance than the other)?

Thanks for the help!

It looks like I have two slots, one currently empty and one with 8GB (does not appear based on system diagnostics that I have 4GB onboard memory, just the 8GB stick).

So, is the max supported per slot 8GB for a total of 16 GB (2x8) max, or is the max system supported 32GB (2x16) max?
