    • Can we install windows 10 after installing kali linux?

    I installed kali linux in my laptop (acer aspire 3 A 315-31-C6I1) now I'm unable to install windows 10 neither from bios nor from os. It showing both kali linux and windows 10 while booting. I'm unable to use windows 10 as it showing an error as some files are missing. I tried to reinstall the windows 10 but pen drive is not showing in the bios. Please help me out with this.

      Did you install linux in uefi mode and with sata mode in ahci?

      I don't know. Just I disabled secure boot and I installed kali linux. And now I'm unable to install windows 10 in my machine

      Important piece is that Windows needs a separate partition to install, (at least 32 gb. More is better). You probably need to shrunk the main Linux partition and create a new one.

      Since you have a 1 TB Seagate, you shoud be able to carve out a 100 GB (or more) partition for Windows.

      Thanks for the help. Now I installed windows in machine. Now the problem is that the touchpad gestures are not working.

      Are there any drivers with problems in the device manager? Is your touchpad synaptichs or elantech?
