Hi. I bought Aspire with iCore3 without any system because I would to install Linux. I tryed newest Fedora, Mint, Ubuntu, Ubuntu lts (Manjaro, Deepin and openSuse dosn't boot, Debian crashed at start). All works with everything (I think) but any doesn't see hard disk so I cannot install system. I tryed this solution but it's not work.
Anyone have ideas on how to solve this problem?

If you do not set Sata Mode to AHCi, the disc will not be recognized.
You should use CRtl + S on the Sata Mode Bios screen

    Good Morning Medzamir !

    Start with the basics:

    ISO must be exclusively x64
At Bios, the settings are as follows ...
    SecureBoot disabled
    Mode set in Uefi
    SataMode in AHCi
    F12 boot menu enabled

All distos I have are x64.

    F12 boot menu enabled
I can set F12 boot as enabled.

    Mode set in Uefi
Boot mode is UEFI but I don't have other option.

    SataMode in AHCi
I don't have this option. Only in "Information" is "Sata mode: Optane without RAID"

    SecureBoot disabled
In my bios is "Standard". I cannot change this because all "Security" functions are not available except  "Set Supervisor Password".

You must first create the superuser password before performing any procedure.

Even after failing to change SataMode to AHCi, just press CTRL + S

I created password. In bookmark "Boot" I don't have more option and nothing happens when pressing CTRL+S. I tryed it with other bookmarks but unsuccessfully. For now by pressing F12 I have "Boot Manager where I can choose between  Linpus lite (it's my usb with Linux) and UEFI_SHELL. Still don't have hard disk :(.

    Dear MaClane

You are GREATE. I found option on "Main" tab. It appeared after I set the password, but I didn't look into this tab until after your last post. At the moment I have Mint 19.3 and waiting for update. Thanks a lot.

Sorry for English. Mostly I use Google translator
