I have a Predator 15 G9-593 that stops charging while I was gaming. It was 100% before I played and after almost an hour, it shuts down. Upon restarting, I noticed the charge LED is only blinking orange every few seconds instead of steady light. I checked the battery and its now 0%. It also says its plugged in but not charging. Instant shutdown when unplugging the charger.
I've checked the other posts and tried the following:
  • Bottom panel for the power killswitch.
  • Battery reset using the pinhole at bottom.
  • Uninstalled ACPI driver. (It was Microsoft Surface ACPI before I uninstalled it.)
  • Can't check the charger since I don't own a multimeter.
Any ideas or other solutions?

  • Have you tried disconnecting the lithium battery and pressing the power button for 30 seconds?

Chemo check your battery report and battery wear (i suspect it would be probably faulty/dead not accepting any charge at all) the same for you Anuja_95

Might be or might not be the battery wear will reveal it

@Spartan145 Didn't fixed it at all. I just removed the battery. Didn't bother to buy a new battery since its always at home. Been using it since this post up 'till now. No problem at all except during power outage.

I suggest to find a replacement battery compatible with the laptop or bring it to service centers.

Thanks for your response, too bad you could not find a fix, I think I will do the same as you because I only use my laptop at home too

Are you still able to set the predator sense into turbo after unplugging the battery? currently I'm having the same issue, and when I open the predator sense
There is a note there that says "need 30% of battery to use overclocking"

Hi, I haven't used the turbo mode on my laptop, at the moments I haven't needed that to play games, even without battery most of them still play really good.
