I recently bought the Acer XF240H from Amazon (March 6th) and found that it has a dead pixel, I've looked around for possible solutions and non of them work and I'm not comfortable about pressing down on the screen.

and I wanted to know what my options are, other than just returning to Amazon for a replacement. and if I was to send it to Acer for repair, would I have to pay the postage or is it covered by them.

Thanks in advance.

After doing a little more research found that according to Acers warranty policy, since I have only 1 Dark Sub-Pixel which shows up in white, but not black it would not be covered since I only have 1, and accorting the article below I need 5 or more for it to qualify.

So I'm left with returning it to Amazon for a replacement, because while it is a single pixel. Unfortunately I'm not someone who would be able to ignore it.
