Hi guys, I couldn't find information about the replacement of my 1 TB HDD. Would it be possible to replace it with an 860 QVO Samsung ssd? And would I need some additinal cables or connectors/mounts?

    Hello,
You could install a M.2 2280 SSD and keep your HDD for data.

I don’t understand, you said you wanted an SSD, @laurent_14 suggested you installed aN M2 2280 SSD and you then said you already have one so Please explain further. Incidentally M2 is the slot name not the SSD or HDD name. I think you are confused, below is a Link to Crucial SSD’s compatible for your exact model

Please click YES if I answered your question

I am not an ACER employee
Thank you and have a blessed day  B)

I said I wanted to replace the HDD with a SSD. There is no need to instal a M2 SSD, as this was already installed by the factory. I just want to get the 1TB HDD out, and get an 2"5 SSD in for performance. The link answered my question. I ordered a 2"5 SSD and it fit the slot. The aspire was capable of reading it as well. Thanks guys.

In this case, you only have to remove the HDD door and install a 2.5" SSD of any brand.
