Hi all, I wanna ask: How do I install the original Windows OS (Windows 8 in my laptop's case) which came with my laptop on a NEW HDD of that same laptop?

Because the Windows 8 HDD which came with the laptop went bad & got corrupted & so, and I had to buy a new HDD...

Now, the new HDD has no Windows... AND I don't want to buy a new Windows 10 key cause it will cost me lots. I just want my previous Win 8 ver.

My laptop: V3 571G 73638G1TMALI

    Good evening BilalMSiddique !

If you have not previously backed up the Windows recovery partition, you will have to pay Acer to purchase a new OEM copy.

    No, I didn't do that...

What if I use this method shown here: Recover Windows 8/8.1 Product Key From BIOS

You can install using an official Microsoft ISO.
However, OEM serials do not accept to download ISO due to license.

Okay, now I have decided to buy myself an OEM key cause they are kinda affordable than the retail versions...

Now what do I do next? With the newly purchased Win 10 OEM key?

OEM keys are attached to the factory OEM system.
That is why it is the obligation of each user to backup the recovery partition.
If you don't have yours, you should contact Acer support to provide you (a fee is charged) a new copy of the system

If you purchased an OEM license for Windows 10, you just need to download and install Windows 10 and enter that key at the activation prompt. It will write the key to the UEFI BIOS and you should be good to go from there. If you need help with downloading the right version of Windows 10, with creating a bootable Windows 10 install flash drive, or booting your system from that flash drive just ask and we'll help you through it.
