I recently bought an Acer Aspire A315-42 (Part nr. NX.HF9ED.009), and every time I connect something through the 3,5mm socket, a pop-up asks me to clarify what kind of device has been conected.
I would like to know if it's possible to disable this pop-up from showing up.

    Try this
    • Open task manager:
    • Go to the Start-up tab
    • Disable the following (right-click > Disable):
      • HD Audio Background Process
      • Realtek HD Audio Manager
    • Restart your computer

If it doesn't work you can re enable them but it worked for another user

Idk what that means. In the volume mixer it says the programs running are "System Sounds", "Mozilla Firefox" & "Realtek HD Audio Universal Service" in that particular order.

I have looked at it, but I don't see anything I can do there to fix the problem.

I just disabled "Realtek HD Audio Universal Service", and it solved the problem! Thank you so much!
