I am new to the forum and have another post trying to ascertain why my printer suddenly stopped.
Meanwhile I decided to see if my qualcomm atheros QCA9377 driver is up to date.    My E15 Acer shows I have Driver date 8/22/2018
Version 12.0.0.722

On the Acer site for driver downloads, the latest is version 11.x.x.x and from 2017.       Is there a newer one or should I perhaps download
the one on this site dated 2017?     thanks

wireless connection is perfect as i mentioned in above posts.  I have one Ipad, another laptop, and a desktop in addition to this ACER.    all print with no problems.   my acer has printed fine for nearly 2 years and suddenly stopped.      i just reinstalled the entire 6960 packakge with that hp smart program.
it said it would print test page, and then wrote it successfully printed.   it didn't          the pc is 2 yrs old.  ready to go with another.

UPDATE:    so i continued to verify and update drivers for Acer Aspire, the HP officejet 6960 and to check for modem updates.

I used the ACER Care Center after downloading and I hooked up my laptop via USB to the printer and a test page printed.   Yay.    I unplugged the
USB, without moving the laptop away from the printer and it printed a test page wirelessly through the Acer Care Center.
I was hopeful problem was solved, but when I tried printing a test page from numerous programs (MS Word, Corel Wordperfect, MS Publisher, Excel, etc)
the same problem persisted where the printer appeared to get ready to print, but nothing ever entered the print queue nor did it show under print status on any program.    Puzzling.
