I replaced Windows with Ubutu 14.04 and instralled Ubuntu 18.04 beside.
When booting I see the message
1.685588] usb 1-1.3: string descriptor 0 read error: -22
What is wrong, and how do I correct things?

    Good Morning Jaalsi !

Are you connecting the device with a USB device (HUB, USB stick, external disk, mouse, etc.)?

If so, remove them all and do a test.

The problem occurred since4 I made a dual-bootsystem (Ubuntu 18.04 besides 14.04). The one usbpost I use is for mouse and keyboard, so I cannot make trhe test you recommended.
    Thanks anyhow,
    Jaalsi

Without taking the test there is no way to help.
