Extremely low framerate in games on Helios 300

So I've been recently playing Siege and my performance has been iffy, at first i'd be only getting 140-130 frames on low in siege but I shrugged it off as the game being unoptimized. Then out of nowhere the framerate dropped to 2-10 and the issue ends up persisting with every game I played. I was able to fix it by reinstalling my drivers, but the issue comes up again out of nowhere. Is there a fix for this or will I have to deal with reinstalling drivers every time?

idk how to get the exact model number but I got the ph315 with the gtx 1660ti, 144hz monitor, and no rgb. I fixed the low framerate issue, usually happening whenever i set my laptop to maximum performance. I've been overclocking the system to extreme through the built in software and I feel like I'm not getting the frames I should be getting now in siege. I've been playing on low and I'm getting only 140ish-120fps when other laptops are pulling in 150-170 on low. Is there something  I need to do to enable higher performance or something?
