AN515-51-78D6 - What does mean "G" suffix in model numbers?

There are plenty of models pairs - one ending with "G", one without it.
What is the difference between such models in pair?

When I see that AN515-51-78D6 accepts, for example, two 16 GB 2666 SODIMM modules and, for example, M.2 NVMe SSD - may I be sure that any other AN515-51 will be compatible with two same SODIMM's and same SSD (including "G" versions)?
If it helps, in the Nitro 5 & 7 laptop series all variants of the same model have the same configuration for SSD's and RAM, This is not always true in the Aspire series

In addition the AN515-54 also has 2 M2 expansion slots, one for NVMe PCIe and the second for NVMe PCIe or SATA

Periodically I need to upgrade different models (our company's head prefers Acer, so almost all the notebooks in company are Acers) but sometimes there are difficulties to find out specs of an exact model - and in many cases specs on site do not contain info about memory size limits or compatibility with M.2 SSD. Now I'm to ask support each time and this takes a lot of time - so I'm trying to find out some system in suffixes and to understand if I can use information about similar models to estimate possibilities of an upgrade.0

I understand your question. The AN515-51 model does not have G. However, this model can come with a gtx1050 or gtx1050 ti.
