  • Hi,
Could you please post the full model name of your laptop, like ANxxx-xx and how much memory installed and the details of the module in the slot1.

This is your speed you have to multiply it by 2, so you have 1200 x 2 for 2400mhz. you can also check it in Task manager

    Good evening Ventsi !

    Check with HWInfo64.
Remembering that the check must be performed on both the HW and CPUz with the device connected to the power outlet.

Tanks, I conect the adapter and situation is better! Now show DRAM 933 but this is only 1866 and fsb: dram is acynch.???  Ram module is a 2400. CPU is a amd 3500U suport base frecuency 2400. How to fix? May be RAM module do not suport with XMP 2.0 or ? Tanks a lot in advance!

No the number in the red box is what's important the different cores are operating at different frequencies depending on demand. Remember "UP TO" 2400Mhz. Your RAM is running at 2400Mhz as intended

I,am confuse because other my PC-desktop show the same 1333, 1333, 1333, 1333 and DRAM show same 1333 ... x2 = 2666 (my ram on the pc, HyperX fury - 2666), but the laptop DRAM in cpu-z show 933 mhz. May be on laptop this nombers frecuensy is more variable. Ok, thanks for answering! The games runing very good on the moment. This with the benchmarks is the same like to chek simptoms in Google...you can get crazy untill everything is ok. :)

Hyper X fury modules are not compatible with your laptop, you need XMP enabled to use them but you can not enable XMP in your laptop, I would suggest you to  return it and get another ordinary memory module, like Kingston value, Crucial, Hynix etc.
Your PC motherboard is different from laptop motherboard, which brand of modules you are trying in the laptop? If it's also a HyperX , please follow the above suggestion.

My RAM is a Hynix 8gb 1 module 2400 mhz. and runing on 1866 mhz. I want to buy kit 2x8 GB Kingston HyperX IMPACT 2400 mhz sodimm for laptop. This kit I think is OK to working on Acer a315-42 Ryzen 5 3500U, because modules have not XMP, thay have automatic overckloking to the higher speed alowded in bios and procesor. You dont have to set bios. Some Acer Bios dont have XMP set up. DRAM frecuensy is manual. Now you confuse me more with that when say HuperX canot to work on my laptop. 🤔
  • Hi @Ventsi,
HyperX modules are meant for high end laptops but if you want to try them in your laptop, I would suggest you to buy from a retailer who has a good returns policy, so that you can get a replacement if the modules don't work, they may work but I haven't seen anyone using HyperX in your model, hence my suggestion of getting an ordinary module, even a 2400MHz Hynix is running at 1866MHz at the moment, your memory module working as a single channel, so I don't know whether you have a single module or two modules installed, so please provide the details as other members asked for, like CPU-z slot 1 details.

Tanks for answering! My laptop have 2 slots but coming only with 1 module 8gb. First time I buy laptop with ram when not working on the full speed capacity. cpu-z show DRAM 933 x 2 = 1866 with plug in adapter. May be from the BIOS I can change DRAM frecuensy to 1200 but I want to choose new RAM KIT anf after to experimented. When I plug the new modules I will see what will show cpu-z. Yes I will try to buy KIT from good store to have option to change if something is working wrong. I will post later question abaout HyperX Impact to chek for some expiriense. Tnaks a lot for suggestions.
