How do I switch off my keyboard on my Aspire 5 - A515 - 43 -R1YQ?

I want to use an external keyboard with my laptop and rest it on the keys, so I want to switch off my keyboard. On my old laptop I uninstalled the keyboard every time I started up and this turned off the laptop's keyboard, but this doesn't seem to work on my new Aspire. Also Fn and F10 doesn't work either.

Any ideas??

Help gratefully received.

I don't think it is possible to disable the keyboard. But you can assign a wrong driver, see:

Thank you so much @MartinJohn00001 and @egydiocoelho for your help, your solutions for assigning the wrong driver worked! Seems so strange that they just don't put a switch in to turn the keyboard off!
