G3-571-77qk shut off in the middle of a game and won't boot back up

Was playing Witcher 3 on AC (plugged in not on battery power) last night when my laptop abruptly shut off and refused to power back on.
Didn't make any noise just the screen went black and all the LEDs cut out.
Now it won't boot, no LEDs on the keyboard,no noise or fans, and the light that usually comes on when it's charging doesn't come on.

Things I've tried
>Pinhole battery reset for 30 seconds and letting it sit after (tried a few times letting it sit for various amounts of time each time)
>Held the battery down for 30 seconds to attempt power cycling
>Made sure the switch in the RAM access door was depressing properly and was fully depressed when the panel was in place
>Repasted the cooling shroud and checked the thermal mount pads to see if they where misaligned maybe causing a short (they weren't, they where aligned fine)
>Checked the board for signs of burning or sparks (nothing looked charred and saw no sparks)
>Disassembled the machine removed the battery and reassembled to see if the battery was the issue (no change)

Any help or pointers would be highly appreciated, kind of asinine that this laptop went from playing games at 100+fps to a 1000$ paperweight in an instant.

I dont have anything plugged into the machine at this point and tried booting from all possible permutations I could think of (removed battery, removed ram, the ssd etc) just trying to get into the bios or see some signs of life like an LED lighting up or a fan spinning.
    No results.
Bought a new charging block and cord, seeing if that fixes the issue. (Who knows, maybe I'm an *****, but eh , I was due for a repasting anyways I guess)
Will report back when the cord arrives.

  • What temperatures does the notebook reach? Have you tried to uninstall the AC adapter and battery drivers in the device manager?

His laptop does not power on.
  • What happens when you disconnect the rtc battery and the lition battery and leave the notebook turned off for a few hours? Is a capacitor burned out?

Did you try booting when it's not plugged?

    Nothing happens.
They don't appear charred or melted but I've yet to take a voltmeter to the thing.

    It makes no difference.

My replacement cord comes in the mail tomorrow.
If that doesn't work I'll check the capacitors with a voltmeter.

Got my new cord in the mail and still no signs of life.
Later today I'm gonna take the battery out, and maybe the cmos/rtc battery too, and see if it'll boot with just the cord.

Anyone have any more info on replacing capacitors?

Took both the cmos and lithium ion batteries out to try booting it with just the cord.
    No change.
Also I looked up my SNID and my warranty ran out two years ago (not surprised, bought this second hand). Given that I'm not covered under a warranty, I'm stuck repairing this thing by myself cause I don't see myself being able to afford it otherwise.
    Any other ideas?

You sure that nothing burned inside of the laptop? That isn't like a battery problem.

I think it's something with motherboard.

Nothing looks burnt out or charred.

Really hope that's not the case as a replacement motherboard is way out of my very limited budget.

Sorry but it can be the only explanation for this.
