What's the minimum watts of power to charge the laptop via USB-C (My Device - Swift 3 sf314-55G)?

The USB-C port is working for data transfers but when I connected to power(Tested with 15, 18, 20W ),  no response from the laptop. There's even an option to notify when slow charge via USB and It's ON.

For the G models you need a 65W (20V/3.25A) USB-C Power Adapter. Less than that will not charge. The non-G models only need 45W since they don't have the extra power draw from the discrete GPU.

Oh! So we need the same watts of power through USB C as well in order to charge the laptop!
I thought they may be a slower charging option with fewer watts of power.
    Thanks for the answer :+1:

A smaller charge current will help with the length of time you can run it, but in order to actually charge you have to be putting more in than the system is using. So a smaller charger might charge slowly if the laptop is turned off, but only extend the time before low battery shutdown if the laptop is turned on.

just out of curiosity, where can I find this option?

my Philips monitor is supposed to deliver 90W to my laptop (SF314-57G), but for some reason, only 20W or so make it through. It does charge though...in more or less complete idle with a net rate of 7W. Putting the device under light load, it struggles to actually keep charging, any substantial load will lead to discharging, as it then consumes more than the 20W the monitor delivers.
I would assume that your device should be able to be charged by a 45W Power Delivery charger (make sure it is actually Power Delivery, and not some proprietary phone charger). The GPU is more or less disabled when unused, so this should not make a difference.
