Hello!

I would like to know if i can use a 1 to 2 jack adapter to allocate the audio jack microphone/speaker combo in the aspire a315 53g
i would like to use a headphone which has 2 connector (1 speaker / 1 microphone). I would not use usb adapter.

Will the headphone's microhpone work too if i attach the headphones to this adpater? Because this laptop has only 1 jack.
Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

You can use a splitter if your Jack in the PC is a Headset Jack also that appears to be the wrong splitter, it must have three black stripes to work

If you look at your headphone plug you’ll see three stripes near the head of the pin:

If it has one stripe, that means it’s mono.

If it has two stripes, that means it has individual left/right channels (stereo)

If it has three strips, that means it’s stereo AND passes microphone input.

In order for this to work, the jack you plug it into must have contacts for each of these stripes*.

Jacks like this are usually indicated with the following symbol:

Note that it is a headphone icon with a little microphone boom attached to it. This jack has contacts for each of these stripes.

So in answer to your question (at least the question I believe you’re asking) you need a headset jack splitter (3 black stripes), not a headphone jack splitter (2 black stripes) and the PC jack must be a headset jack which your model has

I have done a research and i found this adapter:

Will the a315 laptop support this headset adapter? So the headset's microphone and speker would work at the same time.
