Acer SF514-52 Charger connecting and disconnecting by itself

My charging cable keeps connecting and disconnecting by itself, so it is constantly beeping and going into power-saving mode.
It does not work for me to have the computer unplugged since it does not give me any time to plug it in when the low battery notification comes on, just beeps *shows critically low battery* and goes into hibernation within 10 seconds. 
I am using this computer daily in an environment where this beeping is highly frowned upon and it is truly driving me mad listening to this day in and day out.

The charging cable is fine and there is nothing inside the charging plug that should be the cause of this, the computer is out of warranty as well so taking it to the store is not an option. 
The computer is placed on a desk and there is no pull on the cable and has never been, I have tried to turn off the sound, it does not seem to be a possibility, also it does not save me from the screen constantly going dark.

    I have a similar problem with regard to the constant disconnection of the power cord from the Acer Swift 5 laptop.  I called Acer customer service about this problem and did not get a good response.  Customer service sent a new power cord that performed just as badly as the original.  I then tried buying a power cord on Amazon.  Supposedly it matched the Acer specs and it too falls out of the laptop input.  The Acer Swift 5 is highly rated, very light, reasonably priced at US $1200, but the biggest failing is the power cord.  I would not buy this laptop again.  Too frustrating.

    Does the cord 'click' into place when fully inserted? You should be able to feel it when fully in.

    SF514-52 series model facing the same issue. So far tried
    1. battery reset (via the pin hole)
    2. charger plugs in properly (click and everything)
    3. uninstalling ACPI Compliant Control method battery + restart
    4. port looks clean

    problem is still persisting!!

    It's pretty much a feature of all the smaller charger tips. Just push the plug in a little bit more and don't move the laptop around much and it won't happen as often. I tend to use my laptop on my ... lap, and I have to push the plug back in fairly often, but I never have issues with the battery running down.
