Hi I currently have an Acer Aspire T3-710, first ten characters of my S/N are: DTB1HEK027.

I currently have 8GB of RAM, will be upgrading that to 16GB shortly. I am also looking to get a graphics card and was wondering which one would be the best/most compatible?

OK, so what you are looking for is a GPU that fits the case (I believe the stock cards were all shorties, so measure to make sure it will fit) and doesn't draw too much power. The stock cards either had 2GB or 4GB on them, so I'd pick something in the 4-8GB range. Maybe something in the NVIDIA 1050-1070 range?

It depends a lot on which power supply is installed in your machine. The T3-710 models came with 220W, 300W and 500W supplies, depending on what was originally included with the system. If you have the 500W supply you are likely good with anything that fits other than the latest high end cards that want 650W or higher. If you have the 220W supply you are going to want to replace the supply with a bigger one for almost all of the newer cards. What are you using the machine for? It makes a big difference if you are designing graphics in high resolution vs. gaming with a need for lots of FPS.

It looks as though I have the 300 W power supply. I only want games to run a bit better, that is all. I am not looking to get the best possible graphics out of the games or anything.
