I have a Aspire 5 A515-51-58D3
came with a M.2 120 and a 1TB HDD

Been running it on Windows 7 due to a special software
I now want to do a clean Windows 10 installation in UEFI. The option is available in bios
I have selected UEFI disabled secure boot disabled
the Boot menu  shows the USB Device
but when i select it the I get a error message that the system could not detect the Boot Drive
The USB is working correctly as i have used it on other UEFI installations  as recently as a day ago

I have then  installed a Legacy MBR Windows 10 (this worked with a different USB)
Downloaded the latest bios update but when trying to run it I get the following error
"Mount the EFI system partition failed"

Please advise on how i can get this computer to install Windows 10 in UEFI

not sure if it's a typo, but you wrote:  "I have selected UEFI disabled secure boot disabled".   UEFI should be enabled/selected.

    Sorry   UEFI Enabled
Secure Boot Disabled (have tried it with secure boot enabled and disabled no change)
