Acer 15 - Chromebook shutdown

hi. I turned my computer on it refused to accept my password then I used my guest user and inserted a flash drive then my Acer 15 Chromebook  shut down after prompting an error message which I couldn't read before it shut down.and refuses to turn on I have tried the power and reset method and also the battery method but still not working

    That is sounding more and more like a hardware problem, possibly caused by the flash drive, but not certainly. Are you still in warranty? It's time to contact Acer support and let them fix it for you.

    Hi ebbris ,

    Is the charger working? when you connect the charger is there any light on the unit?

    yes the charger was working before the shutdown and after the shutdown it shut down is not indicating any light even when I tried putting it and other outlets and doing the hard reset it still won't turn on

    Two things to try: Powerwash the Chromebook to reset it, you'll lose any data that's only stored locally; and once it's booting back up if your password still doesn't work get on another machine, log into your Google account, and reset your password there. When the Chromebook next connects to the internet your new password will get you back in.

    I have tried the power wash method and still it won't turn on or even indicate light still shutdown.
