Hello
The touchpad on this laptop isn't detected. I've updated all the possible drivers. All I can do is use an usb mouse. Laptop is 1 week old.
Laptop is an Acer Aspire3 A517-51G, running Win10 Home.

I've included a picture of the device manager, with the relevant items (HID and Mouse/pointing). All the "disabled" elements are related to the USB mouse and get enabled as soon as I plug the USB FOB (it's actually a wireless USB mouse, so that's why it also adds a "keyboard"). There's nowhere to see a touchpad or another mouse, so I can't update drivers or anything. Both Elan and Synaptics drivers are installed anyway.

I tried the multumedia key to enable/disable the touchpad (F7) and it doesn't do anything (all the other keys function normally). A lot of solutions to enable the mouse says that I should go to the BIOS and switch the touchpad setting from Basic to advanced, but I don't even have that option in the BIOS. I've included a picture to show what I got, and it's not much (sorry for potato quality of image, I had to take a picture with my phone). BIOS has been updated to latest version (1.08).
It would be really great to have a solution without having the send back the whole laptop to Acer for repair.
