This may be a dumb question but... have you installed any OS in there? (Windows, Linux, it doesn't really matter) It would be normal that it doesn't appear in the boot menu if there's nothing in there to boot :/

Also, check that what you install matches the boot settings you've chosen in the BIOS. For example if it's UEFI you're expected to have a 64-bit OS in there apparently, it won't handle 32-bit EFI modules.

I see... it could be that, maybe the cloning didn't go right. What did you use for the cloning?

I posted a semi-tutorial earlier on in another thread, it could be useful if you want to try and clone the system again: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/773947/#Comment_773947

The link to the image is in the next post because I forgot to post put it there

From Macrium Reflect you can try the Re-Deploy directly and see if that helps you out, without needing to clone again.

  • It would be interesting to know if ssd appears in the bios info tab as well. Because your model supports both nvme and sata 3. If cloning doesn't work correctly, it would be interesting to check out this video:

  • I suggest you check if the alt + f10 command is working after cloning as long as you still have acer stock operating system.

Took me a while to reply being Sunday and all, but I'm glad you got it working in the end :)!

The next next next approach works when the partition to be resized is in the last place, with an empty disk (not a single partition in it) Reflect automatically resizes that partition so everything fits in the smaller disk. It's usually the Windows partition, or a data one like I see in your screenshot (the D drive); but for you was the recovery partition. Sooooo it took manual intervention to resize a partition so they all fit.

Still since what you did was a cloning Acer's D2D should be accessible too if you needed to use it in the future (unless that splitting of the C volume gives it trouble), but hey, let's hope you never get to the point where you need to use that function ;).
