Help needed re: sudden slow down of SF314-54 Product

Was very happy with performance up until early December last year, but problems started right around the time the I applied a windows update.

Suddenly my system was struggling with flash games animations , lag , running MTG Arena, and stuttering slightly when loading web pages and accessing windows files and cortana. Previously all these things were running very smoothly.

Initially I thought I may have got a virus but Malwarebytes, windows, and multiple other virus detection software all came up blank.
I went through and updated all the drivers via windows device manager.

Looking at task manager there isnt any obvious signs of problems like 100% disk usage.
Boot times are fairly good and I have disabled most boot programs.

SSD is nowhere near full at less than 20% of capacity.

Used Windows system restore (not full restore , just personal files and so on) still slow after.

I am at a bit of a loss for my next step. Any help diagnosing this issue from someone more knowledgeable would be very much appreciated.

Open ControlPanel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' in the left pane. Make sure system protection was turned on. Then click 'system restore' button. Then click 'next'. Choose restore point with date/time stamp that coincides with the early Dec update. Do it now before the restore point is deleted. Jack E/NJ

If you checked that system protection was indeed turned on, then Win10 has probably already deleted any restore points for your inconvenience. They usually last only about a month or less before they're zapped.

You should check to make sure the power plan hasn't been changed to power saver mode by opening ControlPanel again, search 'power plan', then click 'choose a power plan' in left pane, If it's set to power saver, change it to balanced or performance mode.

If it's already in balanced or performance mode, about all I can suggest is that you back up your system and do a factory reset or refresh while trying to save your personal files using the ALT+F10 cold boot method as described in the video below. If you do reset or refresh, make doubly sure system protection is enabled so that any offending updates

Im pretty sure I have all ready done this to no avail. I will try It again now that the c drive is protected.

You must make sure system protection is turned on again ****immediately after**** the reset or refresh before any Win10 updates try to sneak in there in mess things up again. Jack E/NJ
