Hello, I recently got a Windows Vista laptop from a. Friend and it worked great. I added another hardrive that runs windows 10 and upgraded the ram. It’s been working flawlessly for weeks until a few days ago. While gaming, it shut off. I tried powering it back on, the green LED lighting up and the fans starting to spin. Then it powers off and repeats the process over and over again. Could you please help me out in fixing this issue?

Sometimes, motherboards get confused after a hardware upgrade. The Plug-n-pray database in the bios can get unstable.

To do this, pull the power supply cord.
If there is an LED on the motherboard, press and hold the power button in, and it should turn off.
Locate the CMOS battery. It looks like a Quarter. There is a spring clip to remove it. Take a screwdriver and short the leads of the battery mount (the inside clip thing and the outside clip thing) and hold it for 20 seconds at least. Replace the battery, and more likely than not, it should come back to life.
If this doesn't work, even with the OLD memory, try polishing the memory contacts with a dollar bill, and trying it again.

    Hope this helps.
I have no idea on how to access the coin cell battery, my computers model is ICY70.
